Firm foundations
Formed consortium and secured APC Funding to develop a low volume line for Aston Martin
Formed JV with Fortescue Zero (formerly WAE) to bring together high performance electric powertrain
design and Unipart tier 1 manufacturing expertise.
Develop and prove-out concept for building EV batteries, with full traceability (safety critical parts)
New capability developed: Laser welding and potting where required, with a fully-integrated manufacturing process that ensures no-fault-forward, zero defects and total traceability.
Customers to date: four customer programmes, including Lotus Evija
Facility expansion in 2023 to provide a second HV battery manufactuing area & end of line testing facility

ACP06 Gov UK Grant secured and Existing factory space identified for development
2018
Transformation is well on the way for the new facility
2019
First project launched. Equipment producred and delivered. APC12 Innovate funding programme started.
2020
Factory in operation (HV1) with further development potential, with on-site capability. Lotus production start.
2021
ISO9001, TS16949 Site accreditation. Kick off project 2.
2022
Ramp up production for Lotus and Project 2
2023
Capability Build, HV2. Launch Project 3.
